Tranquility Owners, Gloria and Wayne Harding Offer New Synergy Cutting Techniques and Launch Latest Curves Hair Collection

MANASSAS, Va., -- Gloria and Wayne Harding, owners of Manassas, Va.-based Tranquility Day Spa & Salon, recently spoke to more than 300 top hair stylists, including Grund International educators from across North America at the Grund International Hair* Symposium in Las Vegas.  A new hair texture and color technique was introduced called Synergy*, which emphasizes the fusion between a textured body wave partnered with trendy highlights, creating hair filled with texture and movement. Synergy* is now being offered at Tranquility Day Spa & Salon in Manassas and Haymarket, Va. The exclusive technique is so new, that very few salons in the state of Virginia are offering it to their clients. The latest Grund "Curves" hair cutting collection was also released, which Harding helped to create as artistic director for Grund International, showcasing latest trends including the hair cuts that are most popular, like the Victoria Beckham and Rhianna haircuts, as well as a new bang technique which is a more modern version of bangs, making them more hip and trendy.

Tranquility Day Spa & Salon, along with their school, Tranquility Design Academy now offer the new Synergy technique which is exclusive to their salons. Along with 15 of their Tranquility stylists, the Hardings also led a discussion at the symposium on "Learning to Love Leadership," where they emphasized the importance of strong management and leadership for salon owners to enhance and improve the quality of the hair care industry.

Symposium attendees experienced the latest hair fashion trends demonstrated by world renowned, international award winning Canadian hair stylist Wayne Grund. It also featured the latest scientific technology in hair repair, styling and straightening products all formulated by one of the most world-renowned, cosmetic scientists, Dr. Lee Hunter.

Tranquility Design Academy is noted for its creative 10-month teaching curriculum for future hair stylists by introducing students to a Fine Art Foundation Workshop that trains stylists to view clientele with the critical eye of an artist along with a creative edge. Not only does the academy focus on the basic foundations of cosmetology school, but more than 75 percent of its courses lead the trainees to harness their own positive energy, skills and talents to realize and maximize their full potential not only to be expert hair stylists, but as compassionate, caring human beings who have been taught to nurture their self-esteem and self-confidence.
