TRANQUILITY DONATES $4400 TO HELP THE HOMELESS
Tranquility Day Spa & Salon Collects $4400 from March Haircuts to Benefit SERVE, Inc.

HAYMARKET, Va., -- Tranquility Day Spa & Salon's March promotion that offered $10 haircuts to all first-time new clients in Haymarket, Va. culminated in a $4400 check hand-delivered by Tranquility Day Spa & Salon co-owner, Gloria Harding to Cheri Villa, chief executive officer of SERVE, Inc., a Manassas, Va.-based organization that promotes independence for the homeless.

"The downturn in the economy has brought higher unemployment rates in our local community, and with that more families are struggling with homelessness than ever before," said Gloria Harding, co-owner of Tranquility Day Spa & Salon in Haymarket and Manassas, Va. "We appreciate the support from our clients and our staff that helped make this donation possible and it's inspiring to see the community come together in just a short 30 days to make such an awesome donation," said Harding.

"Giving back to SERVE was an awesome opportunity for us, as stylists, to use our gifts and talents to bless others and I'm very grateful to work for Gloria Harding who also believes–'we are blessed to be a blessing'," said April Briggs, hairstylist at Tranquility Day Spa & Salon in Haymarket, Va. "This type of giving is rewarding all the way down to the soul," said Briggs.
