LOCAL PASTOR GETS CUT, COLORED and WAXED
Tranquility Day Spa & Salon Owners' Transform Manassas Pastor's Look

MANASSAS, Va., -- Gainesville,Va.-resident and pastor of Washington Christian Life Centre in Manassas, David Baird, was pleasantly content with his graying hair and 20-year-old wardrobe, but when Gloria and Wayne Harding of Tranquility Day Spa & Salon in Manassas, Va. approached Baird with a surprise makeover the 51-year-old husband, father and pastor, who is typically resistant to change, decided to take a chance on a whole new look. Tranquility Day Spa & Salon provided Baird with a trendy new haircut, hair coloring, waxing, and even lined him up with some fashionable new outfits.

"I honestly feel 20 years younger...the change has been awesome," said Pastor David Baird of Washington Christian Life Centre in Manassas, Va. "My wife and three sons love the new look and although I believe real change starts from the inside, the power of feeling really good about your outside can be impactful," Baird said. "I'm very grateful for Tranquility's generosity and providing me the makeover opportunity," Baird added.

"David has been so instrumental in helping others make internal changes, so Tranquility loved the idea to be able to offer David some makeover changes as well," said Harding.

Baird was teaching a class at Washington Christian Life Centre about the "Power of Change," and  Tranquility hairstylist April Briggs, along with Tranquility Day Spa & Salon owners who are regular contributors to the Manassas, Va. community, felt a makeover was great example of that change and have committed to one year of helping Baird maintain his new look.
